I think I'm Lee Marvin!

Hello everybody!
Well if you could hear me speak you would think I was Lee Marvin and I can sing 'I Was Born Under A Wonderin' Star' in his key too!!!!
I'm STILL suffering from this horrible laryngitis although i think i'm coming out the other side - thankfully!
Doug made the comment that it was 'awfully quiet'! ha! he usually tells me that I talk to much! - there's just no pleasing some people is there!!
So - one thing I can do that doesn't involve talking is ride a bicycle and I am the PROUD OWNER of a new racing bike - I love it! It's blue and silver with the scoopy handle bars and it goes like the wind!! I've called it 'The Silver Shadow' as Doug calls his bike 'The Green Monster' so we're off to Ohio Pyle over the weekend to try them out. Don't worry I have a nice pair of padded cycling shorts for the occasion! In fact, whilst horse riding the other day (something else i can do without talking!) I asked my instructor why the equestrian world had not invented padded jodhpurs cause boy oh boy would I be lining up to buy a pair!! I went over my first jump (on horse back I should add!)on Thursday and it was exhilarating...I don't think I looked very glamorous or stylish but it was exhilarating anyway!! Someone came over to ask my instructor a question and she went over to answer them so I went round the arena again and popped over the jump once more - she finished talking and said 'owhh, I missed that Helen, you did that without me watching' to which I replied 'yeah, and you should have seen it - it was my best one yet !!!' she laughed! Even the USA horse language is different from the UK horse language. I am riding in an English Saddle so at least i'm familiar with that but i'm taking lhorse-anguage lessons so i'll know why my instructor is yelling at me!!! But for now, ignorance is bliss as they say!
Check out what's coming up - lots of special concerts that if you can get to - will be worth your while.
Have a good weekend everybody!
