The CD was recorded with the fantastic Cleveland Jazz Orchestra playing on 9 tracks and my wonderful quartet on the other 7 (yes that's right you get 17 whole songs to enjoy!)
Rosemary Riddle (Nelson Riddle's daughter) gave me an arrangement of Zing! Went The Strings of my Heart' and gave me permission to record and perform it - what an honor! Apart from Judy Garland, no one has ever recorded this song - the famous Riddle arrangement is fabulous of course!
There are two original songs included on the CD including the title track 'One Dream' which from the feedback i've recieved seems to be really popular.

Good morning to you all and I hope you're all enjoying the summer. Mind you, I must admit it's turned a little chilly for my liking over the last two days. I was expecting at least another 8 weeks of 85 degrees please!!
So - I usually take one day at a time but as of late several days have attacked me all at once and I'm hoping to see the light at the end of the tunnel by the time my Mum arrives in September. It's all good stuff so i'm not complaining.
This week I'm off to Chautauqua to perform in the amazing amphitheatre with the Dave Stevens Big Band (you met them if you came to the Xmas show) so this will be a blast. Then it's back to Kent on Thursday of this week where I'm very excited to finally be performing at the Home Savings gazebo with a wonderful group of musicians including Dan Murphy on piano and Jack Schantz on trumpet - come and join us for that at 7pm.
Next week I return to Erie for the 'Eight Great Tuesdays' concert at the Pepsi Amphitheatre, once again with the Dave Stevens Big Band and then at the end of the month I travel back to New York State to the floating stage at Bemus Point to sing with the Bemus Pops Symphony Orchestra - phew!!

The Christmas show tickets will be going on sale in September - I will let you know the exact date as soon as it's announced. The show will be at the Akron Civic Theatre on Friday 19th December - can't wait and boy do we have a great selection of songs to tickle your taste buds this year!!

There's no place like home and i'm coming up to celebrating 5 years singing at Nighttown. We had a wonderful evening last time we were hear. Ask to be in the room with the music, enjoy some GREAT food, wine and cocktails and we'll be there to serenade you from 9pm onwards.
