The CD was recorded with the fantastic Cleveland Jazz Orchestra playing on 9 tracks and my wonderful quartet on the other 7 (yes that's right you get 17 whole songs to enjoy!)
Rosemary Riddle (Nelson Riddle's daughter) gave me an arrangement of Zing! Went The Strings of my Heart' and gave me permission to record and perform it - what an honor! Apart from Judy Garland, no one has ever recorded this song - the famous Riddle arrangement is fabulous of course!
There are two original songs included on the CD including the title track 'One Dream' which from the feedback i've recieved seems to be really popular.

Kenny was Frank Sinatra's accompanist for 9 years and is a wonderful piano player - so the morning of the 19th the piano at Anthes is being tuned and we have joining us the wonderful Roy King on drums and Bryan Thomas on bass. On Friday the 18th July I am back at Nighttown in Cleveland Heights and then for you Columbus fans I am joining the Columbus Jazz Orchestra on Friday July 25th for 'Big Band Bash' at the amazing outdoor stage and venue at the Columbus Zoo! This band is fabulous and led by the very talented and funny Byron Stripling - I'm telling you - he makes me look tame!!! If you are in or around Columbus and can make it - I would thoroughly recommend it.
Well I have to go and tend to my garden- all the rain and sunshine is going to give me the biggest carrots, parsnips and potatoes that Ohio has ever seen!!!

Helen sings with the Columbus Jazz Orchestra as they celebrate all that great well loved big band music you just love to hear. This is a beautiful outdoor venue with tables to sit at and a variety of vendors to buy food and wine/refreshments from. It sells out so you can buy your tickets in advance.
