The CD was recorded with the fantastic Cleveland Jazz Orchestra playing on 9 tracks and my wonderful quartet on the other 7 (yes that's right you get 17 whole songs to enjoy!)
Rosemary Riddle (Nelson Riddle's daughter) gave me an arrangement of Zing! Went The Strings of my Heart' and gave me permission to record and perform it - what an honor! Apart from Judy Garland, no one has ever recorded this song - the famous Riddle arrangement is fabulous of course!
There are two original songs included on the CD including the title track 'One Dream' which from the feedback i've recieved seems to be really popular.

HI everyone
Firstly I just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you who turned up at Anthes to make it such a happy, warm and musical evening!!! It's certainly a popular place and so so nice to see you all. I will be back there on Thursday June 12th so book your tables early~!!
Also great to see familiar faces at Nighttown in this my 5th year- can't believe it!! We are back there this Friday.
This weekend is a holiday - hooray! My Daddy is here so I think we're going to do the British favourte of 'Bangers and Mash'! (see Nighttown below if you want to try it!). When we had that really bad snow storm back in April, Brendon the owner of Nighttown gave me a five pound bag of bangers! - especially shipped in - I told him I needed supplies seeing as the weather was so bad! They're yummy so we're going to eat more this weekend and share the experience with our neigbors (hopefully they'll like them too!)
So - lots of things coming up - back at Anthes on June 12 and June 14th we have our debut appearance at Emilios in Hudson. Mark your calendars for Independence weekend on Sunday July 6th - I shall be singing with the Akron Symphony at Lock 3 Live in Akron - it's a great venue and looks to be a GREAT concert - I can't wait!
Chautauqua - I have two appearances at this venue which fascinates me - a cabaret in July and a big band concert in August. For Columbus fans I shall be returning to perform with the Columbus Jazz Orchestra on July 25th at the Columbus Zoo and also a 6 show run at the Southern Theatre in October. Looks like a best start learning my songs!!

On of our favourite jazz joints in jolly old Cleveland - they even sell bangers and mash!! Don't know what bangers are? Shame on you!! They are the great English sausages and you have to try them to experience the bliss!!

Yes we're back at this very cool jazz club/restaurant this Saturday.
Last time I appeared there I had the pleasure of working with Kevin DiSimone on piano - Kevin use to be Barry Manilow's Musical Director amoungst other things and is a wonderful piano player - I'm excited that we are also being joined by Bryan Thomas on bass AND - WHAT A TREAT - a special guest drummer too!! Yeah we got rhythm!! Can't wait!
There may be a $5 cover charge for Saturday night and you'd be wise to make advanced reservations.

The Sheraton on Friday May 30th!
