Columbus/Cincinatti fans I'm coming your way!
Hello to you all and right now I hope you're enjoying the balmy 70 degrees that it is...but not for long!!
Life is good, hectic but I'm not complaining. I'm now managing to fit it 25 students and they are a joy. Ages range from 7 to 63 years old. We study jazz, blues, standards, comtemporary song, big band, broadway, performance skills and laughing!!
The two venues I teach in are the Hudson School of Music and the Fairlawn School of Music. I must admit I never realized teaching would be quite so rewarding or exhausting!!
This week I'm making a brief appearance with two songs at the Packard Jazz Festival singing with the Big Band Sound of Packard. Then Saturday Rock will be playing piano and I will be singing in the lobby for the Akron Civic's annual benefit. A 1920's themed evening....somewhere around I have a cigarette holder with a toy cigarette in it from last time I did a 1920's themed evening!!
For Columbus and Cincinatti fans me and the band will be performing my 'Bring in the Divas!' show at the beautiul Murphy Theatre in Wilmington Ohio on April 20th at 7.30pm.
See below for more details and I hope you can make the trip there - it's a great show!
PUB BRICCO is next Wednesday the 17th, get there early to reserve your seats as the evening is proving to be quite popular which of course we're thrilled about!
Coming up in May on the 24th we'll be performing our lovely show 'Unforgettable' in Massillon at the the Lions Lincoln Theatre so we hope you might join us for that.
Here comes spring everybody!!
