Outside in Aurora this WEDNESDAY and BLOSSOM!!
Hello everybody!
Hope you'll all roasting - i just LOVE this heat myself and this Wednesday looks to be a superb forcast for our performance in Aurora at their Gazebo. We begin at 7pm and play till 9pm so COME ON DOWN! (more details below)
I took the last couple of weeks off from singing although have been busier than a bee teaching, working on Christmas (yes Christmas) and getting music ready for various cabarets and performances.
For ERIE/NEW YORK FANS I will be appearing with the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra at Chautauqua on Monday August 23rd. I will also be in Erie with the Erie Chamber Orchestra on July 31st for a summer concert of well loved songs including 'Someone To Watch Over Me', 'I Got Rhythm' and a few more besides!
For those of you in the Warren area I will be once again joining the Packard Concert Band for their summer finale on Sunday August 22nd.
BLOSSOM!! for everyone else; I am delighted to tell you that I shall be returning to Blossom with the Blossom Festival Orchestra and the wonderful Maestro Loras Schissel on Sunday August 29th at 7pm for an evening of music from the 40's - i'm thrilled to pieces. My last Blossom experience is one of my most memorable evenings from my last seven years in the U.S.A. It goes along with my wedding and singing at Severence Hall and singing the National Anthem at the Indians game!!
Downtown Kent One of my favorite performances of the year is our annual gig at the Home Savings Plaza in Kent and that is coming up on Thursday August 12th. Bring lawn chairs, picnics and enjoy a wonderful evening.
Gervasi Winery for all of you who have been asking me when we might return to this wonderful place the answer is Sunday July 11th. For those of you who've not experienced this winery and its enormous patio - I thoroughly recommend you give it a try. We start at 5pm.
