Back on form!

Hello to you all!
I'm back! - 'back from where?' I hear you cry. Well Doug and I have been on a much needed vacation. Vacations are so good when you feel like you deseve them aren't they?! There was no singing, no, not even 'Show Me The Way To Go Home!'. As you know i've been suffering from terrible laryngitus for weeks and finally - it has gone. For Good!! (she says hopefully!) HOORAY!!
We visited many wineries whilst we were away - infact, as we were unpacking last night I heard Doug say 'did we really buy this much wine?!' I laughed and said 'yup!' We seem to have this habit of going away with two suitcases and then coming home with 16 bottles of wine, 2 tables, a vase, a shelf for the bathroom, new shoes e.t.c. e.t.c.
And speaking of shoes - poor Doug unintentionally gave away a pair of his. We were playing tennis one morning and he changed out of his hiking sandles into tennis shoes. Next morning he went to put on his hiking sandles only to find that they were not in the closet. On thinking back through the day he recalled not putting them on after the tennis game. We went back to the court but alas - they were gone! Off to the shops we went and bought another pair. Next day we played tennis again. Doug took off his sweatshirt and put it down as he was getting hot ( I was making him run around a lot with my bad tennis shots!) A little later on Doug went to put on his sweatshirt.....only to find....yep, you've guessed it - he'd donated that too! Good news though - we went back to the tennis court once more and did find the sweatshirt still there where he'd left it! Phew!
We had a great time and I'm happy to say - it's good to be home!
So - come on down this weekend to the Sheraton - I am back in full voice now and this will be a great way to start a holiday weekend! I know that after two days back at work I'll be ready for 3 days off!
