The Bop Stop - SaturdaySATURDAY NOVEMBER 1ST8.30pm The Cleveland Bop Stop 2920 Detroit Ave Cleveland Tel 216-771-6551 Helen stars with Neo Saxtet in a Hank Geer Tribute. Hank first started this band line up of six saxophones, piano, bass and drums and it has been revived once again. With special guest Marilyn Holderfield who originally sang with Hank when the orchestra was in it's hey day! Tickets are $15 on the door - not available in advance. There is also valet parking. The Bop Stop is a very special venue if you've not been there before I would recommend you try it out. The programme is full of well known songs such as: Alfie: How Do You Keep The Music Playing: Easy Living: For Once In My Life: Slow Boat To China. Lots of fun - come on down!! |
Anthes news...For those of you asking me about Anthes - it has been sold to new owners!We are hoping that the new owners will re-start some kind of music / entertainment programme and i'll keep you updated should that happen - I truly hope it does because I know you loved the place and I thoroughly enjoyed playing there. I wish Jim Pulk - (the original owner) and his wife all the happiness and a stress free Christmas!!! |
